Garrett Neil Olson

has held numerous strategy roles over the past 12 years.  He joined AP Moeller – Maersk in June 2016 as Strategy & Execution Partner to manage the Digital and Commercial strategic portfolios on behalf of the Transport & Logistics Board that focused on improving the customer experience, increasing productivity and growing revenue through digital innovation.  In March 2017 he was appointed to lead the Digital Operations.  Mr. Olson started his professional career in the financial services sector, working in Zurich Financial Services London office from 2006 to 2009 and subsequently became the Chief of Staff to the CEO General Insurance in Zurich Switzerland.  At the end of 2011, he was appointed Head of Global Corporate Strategy Latin American based in Sao Paulo Brazil with responsibility for strategy formulation and execution across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.  In 2014, Mr. Olson became Regional Strategy & Business Development Partner, where he developed the digital strategy and managed the investments into A.I., big data processing and machine learning programs.  He holds bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Psychology, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
