Principal engineer with comprehensive engineering management experience supporting large scale international projects and global organizations. Leading cross-cultural teams, providing guidance, problem-solving attitude, educational mentoring and lean management continuous improvement. Technical and management savvy with 17+ years of working experience in Italy, United Kingdom, Poland and Asia-Pacific.

Educated at Ancona (Italy), Bath (United Kingdom) and Gdańsk (Poland) Universities, Michele Fiorini holds a Ph.D. in electronic and telecommunications engineering in Italy (2006) and an M.B.A. in strategy, programme and project management in Poland (2017).
He was appointed Expert Evaluator (Helsinki, 2013) for the Baltic Sea research programme BONUS, science for a better future of the Baltic Sea region, funded EUR 100 million for the years 2011-’17 and has served as Session Chairman at the Euro-Asia Economic Forum, Xi’an, China (2013)
He has been shortlisted (with mention “Highly commended”) in the Navigation and Surveillance Communications category of the IET Innovation Awards (2015) for his team innovation COunter Piracy Effective Readiness on Naval InComing Objects (COPERNICO).
Dr Fiorini is author (and co-author) of more than 40 peer-reviewed technical publications, an international patent (EP2601647A1, 2015) and the book Clean Mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems (10.1049/PBTR001E, 2015).
